Tamaulipas authorities host youth month events in Ciudad Victoria

In celebration of Youth Month, various state institutions in Tamaulipas, Mexico, organized several community events to promote social integration and gender equality. In Ciudad Victoria, the Instituto de la Juventud de Tamaulipas (INJUVE) hosted a youth rally at the Parque Recreativo Tamatán. The event featured physical challenges and obstacle courses designed to foster teamwork, leadership, and communication among more than 100 participants.

The Guardia Estatal and its Special Forces participated in the rally, completing tactical exercises such as burpees and stretcher carries to strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the local youth. This initiative aims to recover public spaces and improve social proximity as part of regional security strategies.

Additionally, the Instituto de las Mujeres en Tamaulipas (IMT) conducted a gender-perspective ride to encourage female participation in public spaces and reflect on sociocultural changes regarding equality.
