Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal launches rain and hurricane preparedness actions

Governor Américo Villarreal and Luis García Reyes were photographed together, signalling political continuity as the state faces the rainy season. The Tamaulipas Health Secretariat, led by Dr. Ricardo Gerardo Guerrero Morales, activated monitoring and emergency protocols for potential storms, coordinating with Protección Civil, CONAGUA, COEPRIS and local health districts. Epidemiology director Julita Portilla Sosa urged residents to follow official guidance, avoid flooding risks and stay informed.

In parallel, Rector Dámaso Leonardo Anaya inspected modernization works at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas campus in Victoria, including library and cafeteria renovations.
