Tamaulipas Governor leads Cabalgata de la Unidad in Ciudad Victoria

In Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya led the ‘Cabalgata de la Unidad’, an event involving over 2,100 riders from across the state. The procession, which covered 27 kilometers, aimed to demonstrate political unity and support for the national transformation movement led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

Participants included mayors from 43 municipalities, senators, deputies, and state cabinet members. During the event, the Governor inaugurated a new section of the José López Portillo Boulevard. While the event served as a display of solidarity, reports also noted internal political tensions within the Morena party regarding future candidacies and allegations of corruption among some officials.

Separately, Governor Villarreal emphasized the strong coordination between the state and federal governments, noting that Tamaulipas will have a dedicated section in the President’s second government report. This section will highlight infrastructure projects including railways, highways, ports, hospitals, and energy developments.
