Tamaulipas health officials supervise hospitals to improve patient safety

The State Interinstitutional Health Command (CEISS) conducted supervision visits in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, to evaluate and identify risks in hospital units. The inspections were carried out under the direction of Health Secretary Adriana Marcela Hernández Campos and General Director of Medical Services Carlos González Castro, following Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya’s order to reinforce monitoring across all hospitals.

The reviews covered strategic components, transplant services, social work, emerging respiratory illnesses and maternal‑perinatal mortality. Representatives from IMSS‑Bienestar, IMSS‑Ordinario, ISSSTE and the state Health Secretariat participated, aiming to ensure timely, safe and high‑quality care for the people of Tamaulipas.
