Tamaulipas honors paramedics on International Paramedic Day

State officials in Ciudad Victoria marked International Paramedic Day with a ceremony recognizing the work of paramedics and emergency‑medical personnel. Health Secretary Adriana Hernández Campos praised their dedication, saying they act as “the first link in critical care and often the difference between life and death.”

The event, attended by representatives of the Centro Regulador de Urgencias Médicas, Protección Civil, Cruz Roja Mexicana and Cruz Ámbar, highlighted the coordination among these agencies under Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya’s administration. Speakers emphasized the humanist vision of the state’s health system and the ongoing effort to strengthen pre‑hospital response capacity.
