Tamaulipas hosts international festival in Mier and Tula
The International Festival in the Costa del Seno Mexicano has expanded to the 'Pueblos Mágicos' of Mier and Tula in Tamaulipas. The event features a variety of music, culture, gastronomy, and artisanal showcases designed to promote local heritage and attract visitors to the region.
In Mier, the festival officially launched with the 'Acordes de Nuestra Tierra' show and a performance by Amenaza Norteña. The opening was led by Tamaulipas Secretary of Tourism Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, representing Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, alongside Municipal President Adriana Hinojosa Ibáñez.
All festival activities across the 43 municipalities of Tamaulipas are free of charge. In Tula, known as the birthplace of the Cuera Tamaulipeca, the programming aims to utilize public spaces and theaters to foster community engagement and stimulate local commerce and service providers.
