Tamaulipas invests 1.3 billion pesos in El Mante bypass project

The Government of Tamaulipas has launched the Libramiento Poniente Mante project, an infrastructure initiative involving an investment of more than 1.3 billion pesos. The project aims to modernize over 7.5 kilometers of roadways in the southern sugarcane zone of the state.

According to Pedro Cepeda Anaya, Secretary of Public Works, the work includes expanding more than 4 kilometers of the Libramiento Poniente Tam-77 and over 3.5 kilometers of Federal Highway 85. The intervention spans from the Mante West Bypass junction to the Tampico exit roundabout.

The project is designed to improve connectivity by linking Federal Highway 101 (Tula-San Luis Potosí section) with the Victoria-Mante highway and the Mante-Tampico route. This modernization is expected to facilitate the movement of agricultural products and goods, reduce travel times, and increase safety for both urban and commercial traffic in the region.
