Tamaulipas labor conciliation returns over 878 million pesos to workers

More than 878 million pesos have been returned to workers in Tamaulipas, Mexico, through labor conciliation processes between January and July 2026. Luis Gerardo Illoldi Reyes, the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare for Tamaulipas, announced that the use of dialogue and conciliation has become a preferred method for resolving workplace disputes.

The amount recovered in the first seven months of 2026 represents a significant increase compared to the same period in 2025, when 743 million pesos were recovered. This year's total includes 318.7 million pesos from hearings and 559.4 million pesos from ratifications, marking an increase of over 135 million pesos over the previous year's figures.
