Tamaulipas Ministry of Education to regularize 1,100 workers

The Tamaulipas Ministry of Education (SET) is implementing measures to prepare for the upcoming school year, which is scheduled to begin on August 31. Secretary Miguel Ángel Valdez García announced that the department will regularize 1,100 education workers to ensure all schools have necessary personnel from the first day of classes.

These appointments include teachers, administrative staff, supervisors, and directors. This initiative follows the recent delivery of approximately 500 appointments and is being coordinated with Section 30 of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE).

Additionally, the SET has held regional meetings in Matamoros, Victoria, and Madero to strengthen coordination among educational authorities. These sessions, part of the 'Tamaulipas Educa 2026-2027' agenda, involved various educational sectors, including initial, special, preschool, primary, secondary, and physical education, to outline operational strategies for the new cycle.
