The Altamira municipal social services agency (DIF) took part in the official launch of the Teletón 2026 fundraiser in Ciudad Victoria, receiving a recognition from the Teletón Foundation for being among the six municipalities with the highest collections in the 2025 campaign.

Meanwhile, COMAPA Sur continued its pavement‑replacement program in coordination with the city councils of Tampico and Ciudad Madero, restoring concrete surfaces on several streets after water‑and‑sanitation works. The work includes repairs on streets such as Calle 7 in Jardín 20 de Noviembre, Calle Valle Hermoso, and Avenida Villahermosa, aimed at improving mobility and safety for local residents.
