Tamaulipas officials present migrant rights handbook in El Mante
During a meeting with families with migratory ties in El Mante, Tamaulipas, Senator Olga Sosa Ruíz and Juan José Rodríguez Alvarado, director of the Tamaulipas Institute for Migrants, presented the Migrant Rights Handbook.
The handbook is designed to provide information, guidance, and access to state government services for families of citizens living abroad, particularly in the United States. It includes general legal advice and contact numbers for personal assistance.
Senator Sosa Ruíz emphasized that these efforts align with the policies of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya to ensure rights are communicated in accessible language. The initiative also includes a strategy to identify duplicate birth certificates to ensure individuals can maintain proper legal identity.
