Tamaulipas presents its flautas at Mexico City's 'México de Mis Sabores' food festival

The state of Tamaulipas highlighted its traditional wheat‑flour flautas, including giant versions, at the national culinary showcase “México de mis Sabores” held at Campo Marte in Mexico City. Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Tamaulipas Secretary of Tourism, said the festival serves as a platform to promote tourism, cultural identity and the country’s culinary diversity. The event gathers chefs, traditional cooks and food producers from all 32 Mexican states and offers weekly themed programming that celebrates regional flavors.

The participation aims to increase visibility of Tamaulipas’ gastronomy and strengthen its position as a cultural and tourist destination within Mexico.
