Tamaulipas Public Security Secretariat ranks third in 2025 management index

The Tamaulipas Public Security Secretariat (SSPT) has achieved third place in the 2025 Government Management Evaluation Index (IEGG). The assessment was conducted by the state's Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Government across 17 active government agencies.

The evaluation measures performance based on five thematic axes: governmental efficiency and effectiveness, internal control, auditing, ethics and public integrity, and transparency. The SSPT's score placed it above the average for state institutions.

Data provided by Juan Antonio Ramírez Torres, director of Internal Control and Government Evaluation, shows a steady upward trend in the agency's performance. The SSPT recorded a general result of 71% in 2023, 81.50% in 2024, and 95.36% in 2025. Carlos Arturo Pancardo Escudero, head of the SSPT, recognized the staff for meeting institutional goals and objectives within the police environment.
