Femsa to open 90 new stores in Tamaulipas

The Tamaulipas Secretary of Economy, Ninfa Cantú Deándar, announced that the Femsa group plans to open 90 new stores across the state. While specific locations and investment figures have not been released, the expansion is expected to strengthen commercial activity in the region. Governor Américo Villarreal is expected to provide a formal presentation regarding the details of this project.

Additionally, the state's Secretary of Economy has launched the ‘Diseño de Logo 2026’ call through the ‘Hecho en Tamaulipas’ program. This initiative offers graphic design services to help registered entrepreneurs and micro-businesses create professional logos to strengthen their brand identity. Interested parties must be registered in the program and submit their applications by October 7, 2026, though availability is limited.
