Tamaulipas to host international energy congress with five foreign ambassadors

The Tamaulipas International Energy Congress 2026 will feature ambassadors from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Australia, and Norway. The event is scheduled for October 27, 28, and 29 at Expo Tampico.

According to Walter Julián Ángel Jiménez, the state's Secretary of Energy Development, the diplomats will participate in a panel titled “Technological potential of Global Allies in the Transformation of the Energy System of Mexico and Tamaulipas.” The congress aims to foster dialogue regarding energy transition, technological innovation, and sustainable development.

The program includes nine keynote speeches, 29 technical tables and panels, 22 specialist conferences, and two workshops. Additionally, the event will feature an industrial fair and various activities involving the public and private sectors to discuss global energy investments.
