Tamaulipas to host new marine fauna rehabilitation hospital

Conibio Global A. C. has announced the development of a Marine Fauna Rehabilitation Hospital in Playa Bagdad, Matamoros, Tamaulipas. The project will be situated on seven hectares of donated land north of Playa Bagdad.

The facility aims to provide medical care and rehabilitation for marine species, strengthening conservation efforts along the Tamaulipas coast. The region is a key area for monitoring and protecting various species, including sea turtles. The organization plans to hold a groundbreaking ceremony in November to officially begin the project.
