Tamba City to host 11th Annual Azuki Red Bean Zenzai Fair

Tamba City will host the 11th annual ‘Tamba Dainagon Azuki Zenzai Fair’ to promote the local Dainagon azuki red beans. The event aims to showcase the history and unique characteristics of these large, flavorful beans through various red bean dessert preparations.

The fair runs from November 1, 2026, to February 18, 2027. A total of 33 restaurants within Tamba City are participating, offering diverse interpretations of zenzai, including traditional styles, espresso-infused versions, and Chinese-style arrangements.

Organized by the Tamba Dainagon Azuki Brand Strategy Council, the event includes promotional activities such as an Instagram campaign and a stamp rally where participants can win 5,000 yen in local gift certificates.
