Tame Impala performs Deadbeat tour at Afterpay Arena in Sydney

Tame Impala kicked off the Sydney leg of the Deadbeat tour at Afterpay Arena on October 19, 2026. The performance featured Kevin Parker performing material from his fifth studio album, which leans heavily into electronic music and dancefloor energy.

The concert included a high-production visual experience characterized by a spaceship-like lighting rig, precision laser work, and a modular LED setup. Parker performed alongside a six-piece touring band, including Jay Watson, Dominic Simper, Cam Avery, Julien Barbagallo, and James Ireland.

Supporting act Ninajirachi, an award-winning electronic producer, opened the show. The setlist included eight songs from the new Deadbeat record, alongside established hits from previous albums such as Currents and Lonerism.
