Tamer Şahin, actor from ‘Neşeli Günler’, shifts focus to arts
Tamer Şahin, the actor who played Mehmet in the 1978 classic Turkish film ‘Neşeli Günler’, has transitioned away from acting. The film, which featured stars such as Adile Naşit, Münir Özkul, and Şener Şen, remains a beloved staple of Turkish cinema.
Following his debut in ‘Neşeli Günler’, which served as his only film role, Şahin pursued other paths. His career history includes being named ‘Saklambaç Fotoroman Kralı’ in 1976 and serving as a manager for musician Barış Manço.
Currently, Şahin resides between Istanbul and the Dikili district of Izmir. He has shifted his focus toward the culture and arts sector, where he works organizing various cultural and artistic events.
