Tamil Nadu Agricultural University to hold counseling for 1,100 vacant seats
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has announced that over 1,100 seats remain vacant in its undergraduate agriculture courses following the initial rounds of counseling. To fill these vacancies, a new round of counseling is scheduled to take place from August 24 to August 27.
Out of a total of 5,236 available seats for the current academic year across all categories, 4,124 seats were allocated through the general counseling process. A specific 7.5 percent reservation for students from government schools, totaling 424 seats, has seen only 202 seats filled so far. The university expects the remaining seats from this quota to be included in the upcoming counseling round.
Eligible candidates are advised to attend the counseling sessions with all necessary academic, community, and residence certificates. Admission remains subject to document verification and the availability of preferred courses and institutions.
