Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay warns of corruption evidence
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay has issued a warning to opposition members in the state assembly, stating he possesses files detailing alleged corruption across three government departments. Vijay indicated that he has received detailed review reports from the Finance Minister and will choose the ‘right time’ to make these findings public.
The warning follows heated debates in the assembly regarding housing schemes and water resources. While the Chief Minister suggested his silence was intended to support upcoming by-elections, opposition members have demanded immediate evidence to substantiate the claims.
In a separate administrative move, the state government has issued strict directives to school and college students to refrain from participating in political protests organized by leftist parties and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). This directive, involving the School and Higher Education Departments, aims to prevent student involvement in demonstrations related to issues such as NEET.
