Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin praises 10th‑grade exam passers, urges failed students to persevere
On May 20, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin used the social‑media platform X to congratulate students who passed the state’s 10th‑grade public examinations (SSLC) and to encourage those who did not succeed to continue their studies. He wrote, “All students who passed the 10th‑grade public examinations, heartfelt congratulations! This is a crucial step in building a strong career foundation,” and added, “My wish is that you never abandon education, but study with full dedication and achieve success.”
The results showed a 94.31 % pass rate for the academic year 2025‑26. The exams were held across Tamil Nadu in March and April, involving millions of candidates. After the results were released, successful students celebrated while some who failed expressed disappointment. Officials reminded students to view their provisional mark sheets online by entering their registration number and date of birth, and to keep their hall tickets ready to avoid delays.
