Tamil Nadu commemorates former CM M. Karunanidhi on 8th death anniversary with statewide DMK rallies

Across Tamil Nadu, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) organised peace rallies in Thoothukudi, Kanchipuram, Chennai and other districts to mark the eighth death anniversary of former chief minister M. Karunanidhi. Party leader M. K. Stalin led floral tributes at the Omandurar Government Estate, Marina Beach memorial and the late leader’s residences, posting an emotional message on X that quoted, “He is everything to us. Without him, we are nothing.” Thousands of DMK cadres, former ministers and legislators participated, laying wreaths, garlanding statues and marching under black shirts.
