Tamil Nadu government provides relief to worker injured during mosquito control

Tamil Nadu Social Justice Minister Vanniarasu visited Murugan, a local councillor's husband, at the Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital. Murugan suffered a severe injury, including a severed hand, during a dengue mosquito control operation in the Odai Kulam area near Pollachi on the 23rd.

Following successful surgeries by doctors at the Coimbatore hospital, Murugan has begun regaining sensation in his hand. The state government has provided a relief payment of 6 lakh rupees to his family. Minister Vanniarasu stated that the government will continue to provide all necessary medical assistance until his full recovery and remains committed to protecting social harmony and supporting affected citizens.
