Tamil Nadu Minister joins drug awareness walkathon in Madurai
Tamil Nadu Minister CTR Nirmal Kumar participated in a ‘Say No Drugs’ awareness walkathon in Madurai on Saturday. The event aimed to educate the public, particularly the youth, on the dangers of narcotics and promote a drug-free society.

Stalin alleged that the drug menace is contributing to recent violence in the state. He specifically highlighted the killing of 19-year-old Amudhan in Coimbatore, asserting that the death was a murder linked to the victim providing information about drug-related activities rather than a gang clash. Stalin also noted that the Kallakurichi district party unit held a demonstration demanding justice for the case.
