Tamil Nadu Transport Buses Noise Ban and Vande Bharat Snack Incident

The Tamil Nadu government issued a circular directing all state transport corporations to prohibit loud music, speaker‑mode calls and video playback on buses. Passengers are urged to use earphones, and drivers must enforce the rule under the Motor Vehicles (Driving) Regulations, 2017. Buses will display stickers reminding commuters of the "No Speaker Mode" policy.

Separately, passengers on the Mysuru‑Chennai Vande Bharat Express reported finding a Fevikwik adhesive tube embedded in a dal vada served on board. The incident was raised with IRCTC, which said senior officials in Delhi would review the complaint and take appropriate action.
