Tampa Bay Buccaneers edge rushers face roster uncertainty

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face roster decisions regarding their edge rusher depth. Former second-round pick Chris Braswell is reportedly at risk of being released from the 53-man roster following a struggle in the preseason opener, where he recorded a 34.4 defensive grade and no statistical contributions.

Undrafted free agent Jack Pyburn is competing for a spot in the edge room after recording two sacks against the New York Jets. Pyburn is among 16 athletes who were granted a temporary restraining order against the NCAA, which would allow them to seek a fifth year of college eligibility and enter the transfer portal if they are released from their NFL rosters before September 1st.
