Tampa Bay Buccaneers face multiple injury setbacks
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are dealing with several roster setbacks ahead of their NFC South matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Veteran inside linebacker Christian Rozeboom has been placed on injured reserve due to a finger injury, which is expected to sideline him for at least four games. This loss disrupts a three-man linebacker rotation recently utilized by defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
Additionally, the team has faced challenges with offensive starters and a mysterious illness within the locker room. Offensive tackle Luke Goedeke (calf injury) and wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (concussion and foot injury) were both held out of practice earlier in the week. However, both players participated in Friday's practice, offering optimism regarding their availability for Sunday's game. Meanwhile, several other players, including running back Bucky Irving and defensive tackle Calijah Kancey, were limited by illness during recent practices.
