Tampa Bay Buccaneers face Minnesota Vikings in Week 3

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare to host the Minnesota Vikings in a Week 3 matchup at Raymond James Stadium. The Vikings enter the contest with a 2-0 record, seeking to maintain their lead in the NFC North, while the winless Buccaneers face a critical game to avoid a 0-3 start that could jeopardize their playoff prospects.

Much of the pre-game attention focuses on the connection between the two starting quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray. The two were former teammates at Oklahoma, and Mayfield has publicly defended Murray against outside criticism, praising his work ethic and dedication.

Both teams are managing injury concerns heading into the weekend. The Buccaneers are looking for momentum following two close losses, while the Vikings are navigating roster decisions regarding inactive players as they attempt to extend their undefeated streak.
