Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka faces injury uncertainty

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has provided updates on several player injuries as the team prepares for the NFL regular season. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is currently dealing with a toe sprain, which Bowles described as being “day-to-day, week-to-week.” There is uncertainty regarding whether Egbuka will be available for the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 13.

Other injury concerns within the Buccaneers roster include wide receiver Jalen McMillan, who is also listed as “day-to-day,” and backup quarterback Jake Browning, who is managing a back injury. Additionally, offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs is working through a hamstring issue, though the team is reportedly ramping up his workload. On the defensive side, cornerback Benjamin Morrison has returned to practice after dealing with injuries.
