Tampa Bay Lightning Kole Lind NHL training camp professional tryout agreement AHL

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed unrestricted free agent forward Kole Lind to a professional tryout agreement (PTO) for their 2026 training camp.

Lind, 27, is a 6’1” right-handed forward who was originally selected 33rd overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Draft. His professional career includes stints in the NHL with the Canucks and the Seattle Kraken, totaling 31 career NHL games and eight points.

Most recently, Lind spent time in the Dallas Stars organization playing for the Texas Stars in the AHL. He has also played for the Coachella Valley Firebirds, Utica Comets, and Charlotte Checkers. If he does not secure a spot on the Lightning's NHL roster during camp, he may earn a contract with their AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
