Tampa Bay Rays defeat Atlanta Braves 7-1 behind Caminero and Peralta

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Atlanta Braves 7-1 on Tuesday night, fueled by a dominant pitching performance from Freddy Peralta and a significant home run from Junior Caminero. Peralta, who was acquired from the Mets at the trade deadline, earned his third consecutive victory, allowing only one run over six innings. Since joining the Rays, Peralta has maintained a strong run, allowing only two runs in his last 18 innings.

Junior Caminero hit his 39th home run of the season, a 455-foot blast that gave him the American League lead in home runs. The Rays' offensive surge included home runs from Liam Hicks, Yandy Díaz, and Richie Palacios. Additionally, Chandler Simpson recorded his 40th stolen base of the season, becoming the first player since the 1992-93 season to steal at least 40 bases in his first two professional seasons.
