Tampere sports organizations announce upcoming events and structural changes

The Finnish Padel Association (Suomen Padelliitto ry) has announced the Padel Summit and Star Point Awards, scheduled for January 16, 2027, in Tampere. The event, held at the Finlayson Meetings venue, aims to bring the padel community together to discuss club activities, junior development, and the future of the sport in Finland. The program includes a summit featuring speakers such as Olli Kunnari, the head coach of the Finnish men's national volleyball team, who will discuss team building. The day will conclude with the Star Point Awards to honor outstanding contributors and players.

Separately, Tampereen Pyrintö Lentopallo is introducing new payment models for its volleyball season starting in January 2027. To provide more flexibility for participants, the club is offering two options: a monthly subscription of 50 euros per month, allowing access to all age-appropriate training sessions in the Tampere area, or a traditional one-time payment of 135 euros for the spring season. The monthly model is designed to assist families with budgeting and accommodate varying schedules.
