Tamás Deutsch criticizes Tisza government over solar eclipse

Fidesz Member of the European Parliament Tamás Deutsch used a recent partial solar eclipse to criticize the current Tisza-led government. In a sarcastic social media post, Deutsch compared the current partial eclipse to the total solar eclipse that occurred in Hungary in 1999 during the first Orbán administration.

Deutsch remarked that while the previous Fidesz government oversaw a total eclipse, the current Tisza government is only managing a partial eclipse of 44% to 82%, jokingly stating they cannot even organize a proper eclipse. Other Fidesz representatives, such as Péter Takács, also commented on the event, framing the celestial phenomenon within the context of the ongoing political transition.
