Tan Dinh ward ranked among world's coolest neighborhoods

Tan Dinh ward in Ho Chi Minh City has been ranked 12th in Time Out magazine’s annual list of the 40 coolest neighborhoods in the world. This marks the only representative from Vietnam in the global rankings.

The ranking, released by the British travel magazine, is determined by an editorial board using a network of local experts. Rather than focusing on tourist volume or landmarks, the criteria emphasize dining, nightlife, independent local shops, quality of life, and community spirit.

Tan Dinh’s position places it ahead of several major Asian urban areas, including Talat Noi in Bangkok (14th), Jalan Besar in Singapore (20th), and Changning in Shanghai (26th). The top spot in the global list was awarded to Jongno 3-ga in Seoul, South Korea.
