Tan-Viet VIFON Group to invest 20 million euros in French food plant

Tan-Viet VIFON Group has signed an agreement to invest 20 million euros in a new food production and logistics complex in Verdun, France. The project, managed by VIFON FRANCE SAS, will occupy over 80,000 square meters in the Souhesmes Industrial Park.

The facility will include a headquarters, a food processing plant, and modern logistics warehouses. Located near the A4 highway, the site serves as a strategic hub for distribution to France and the European Union, providing easy access to Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.

This investment marks a shift for the Vietnamese company from exporting goods to direct local production and distribution within Europe. The project is expected to create approximately 200 local jobs. VIFON, which has exported to over 100 countries, has also established direct partnerships with major French retailers Carrefour and E. Leclerc to facilitate market reach.
