Tanah Laut accelerates rice planting under CSR program
The Tanah Laut Regency Government is accelerating the Cetak Sawah Rakyat (CSR) program to strengthen regional food security. As of October 5, 2026, approximately 103 hectares of rice have been planted toward a total target of 640 hectares.
Regent Rahmat Trianto led a joint planting activity in Liang Anggang Village, Bati-Bati District, to promote the utilization of previously unproductive land. To ensure optimal yields, the government emphasized the importance of land management and pest control. As part of this effort, rodenticide was distributed to the Adil Makmur Farmer Group (Gapoktan) to help manage pests that could threaten crop growth.
The program involves a collaborative approach between local government agencies, village officials, agricultural extension workers, the Food Brigade, farmer groups, and members of the TNI and Polri.
