Tandem Health raises $100 million in Series B funding

Swedish healthtech startup Tandem Health has secured approximately €86.5 million ($100 million) in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by EQT’s €5 billion Scaleup Europe Fund, with participation from existing investors including Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries.

Founded in Stockholm in 2023, the company aims to evolve from a medical transcription tool into an ‘AI-native clinic operating system.’ While its initial product focused on automating medical notes during consultations to reduce administrative burdens, the company is expanding its capabilities to manage patient flows and clinical tasks before, during, and after visits.

Tandem Health currently serves 10,000 healthcare organizations across 14 European markets, with the United Kingdom serving as its largest market by user volume. The company reports that its AI co-pilot has helped clinicians reduce administrative time by 29%, while also improving job satisfaction and reducing administrative stress.
