Tandil hosts biodiversity and production event at Chacra El Arraigo

In celebration of Tree Day, the Municipality of Tandil’s Directorate of Public Green Spaces is hosting a free event titled “El árbol como puente” at Chacra El Arraigo in El Gallo. Scheduled for Saturday, August 29, the program includes specialist talks, guided tours, and a community lunch.

The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of tree species in both rural and urban environments. Activities will feature a symbolic planting and technical presentations from INTA regarding the impact of trees on agricultural systems. Additionally, experts will discuss apiculture and agroecological gardening techniques, such as hydroponics.
