Tandil launches Chacinar 2026 jingle contest

The organizing committee for the eighth edition of Chacinar 2026 has launched a jingle competition in Tandil, Argentina. The contest invites local musicians to create short musical pieces, between 30 and 60 seconds, that capture the identity of the region's charcuterie culture.

Participants aim to represent the entire value chain, from corn production and porcine farming to the traditional processing and consumption of cured meats. The initiative seeks to highlight the socio-community impact and history of these products. The competition is open to permanent residents of Tandil over the age of 18, with prizes reaching up to $350,000.
