Tandil Municipality reports successful tourism promotion at FIT 2026

The Municipality of Tandil has released a report following its participation in the 2026 Latin American International Tourism Fair (FIT). After a seven-year absence, the municipality maintained its own stand at the event held at La Rural in Buenos Aires.

Key outcomes from the participation included meetings with sector companies, the launch of the 2027 tourism season, and the presentation of rural tourism proposals. The municipality also presented its offerings at the Mercociudades network meeting, resulting in the 'Destino Tandil' brand being featured on more than 15 digital media portals.

According to the municipal report, the fair served to build loyalty among hundreds of tourists and foster teamwork between local service providers and the Directorate of Tourism. The report noted that the municipality's presence was particularly significant as the Province of Buenos Aires did not have an official stand at the event.
