Tanger Outlets Houston Holds Tax‑Free Back‑to‑School Bash

Tanger Outlets Houston is organizing a Back‑to‑School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event, sponsored by UTMB Health, will feature free activities such as a DJ, face painting, caricature artists, and special guests in the lagoon area near the Coach and Michael Kors stores.

Shoppers can also take advantage of Texas’ tax‑free weekend, running Aug. 7–9, which excludes sales tax on clothing and footwear priced at $100 or less. In addition, the outlet will offer up to 25 % off top brands including Nike, Adidas and Old Navy as part of its Tanger Deal Days promotion.
