Tangerang City digitizes cemetery permit renewals

The Tangerang City Government has digitized the process for renewing Cemetery Land Utilization Permits (IPTM). Through the official website perizinanonline.tangerangkota.go.id, heirs can now apply for these permits online to reduce bureaucracy and physical queuing.

Sugihharto Achmad Bagdja, Head of the Tangerang City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), confirmed that since January 1, 2024, these permit renewals are free of regional retribution fees. The issued permits are valid for three years and must be renewed periodically by the heirs.

The digital service applies to all registered Public Cemeteries (TPU) managed by the city government, including TPU Selapajang Jaya, TPU Betet, TPU Kedaung Wetan, and TPU Mekarsari, all located in the Neglasari district.
