Tangerang City increases PPPK allowances by 15 percent

The Tangerang City Government has announced a 15 percent increase in additional income allowances (TPP) for full-time Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), effective September 2026. This policy was established through Tangerang Mayor Decision Number 903 of 2026.

According to Jatmiko, Head of the Tangerang City Human Resources and Development Agency (BKPSDM), the increase ranges from a minimum of approximately Rp400,000 to a maximum of Rp1.3 million. The city government noted that these funds had been budgeted since January 2026, though implementation remains subject to central government regulations and regional financial capacity.

Mayor Sachrudin stated that the adjustment serves as an appreciation for the contributions of PPPK staff in supporting government operations and public services. He emphasized that increased welfare should be accompanied by improved discipline, performance, and responsibility in serving the community.
