Tangerang City investment reaches Rp11.7 trillion in first half of 2026

Tangerang City recorded an investment realization of Rp11.7 trillion during the first semester of 2026, according to the Department of Investment and Integrated One-Stop Services (DPMPTSP). This figure represents approximately 77 percent of the Rp15.15 trillion target set in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD).

The total investment consists of Rp8.385 trillion in domestic investment (PMDN) and Rp3.349 trillion in foreign investment (PMA). These investments are spread across 18,136 projects and have absorbed 29,887 workers.

Key contributing sectors include housing, industrial areas, and offices, which accounted for Rp3.34 trillion. Other significant sectors include transportation, warehousing, and telecommunications at Rp1.548 trillion, followed by the chemical and pharmaceutical industry at Rp1.156 trillion.

In terms of foreign investment origins during the second quarter of 2026, Seychelles was the largest contributor with Rp1.075 trillion, followed by China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
