Tangerang mechanic billed for 137 million IDR McLaren tax arrears

A mechanic in Tangerang, Indonesia, named Yudariansyah, was unexpectedly approached by Samsat Ciledug officials regarding unpaid motor vehicle taxes totaling approximately 137.4 million IDR. The tax arrears pertain to a McLaren luxury sports car registered under his name.

Officials noted several discrepancies, including the fact that the registered address is located in a residential village with narrow, damaged paving block roads unsuitable for luxury vehicles. Yudariansyah stated he does not own a car. Following the investigation, Samsat Ciledug officials blocked the vehicle's data to prevent further misuse of the individual's identity.
