Tangerang police arrest man for rape and murder

Police have arrested a man, identified by the initials KF, for the rape and murder of a 20-year-old woman, SNA, in Benda, Tangerang City. The incident occurred on August 11, 2026, in a rented house.

According to AKBP Abdul Rahim of the Polda Metro Jaya Subdit Jatanras, the suspect was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime. Investigators believe the suspect entered the victim's residence through an unlocked door while she was alone. The victim was discovered deceased by her partner, Antoni Rahman.

Authorities managed to apprehend the suspect in less than 24 hours following the discovery of the body.
