Tangerang Regency hosts Perwosi Cup 2026 female futsal tournament

The Perwosi Cup 2026 female student futsal tournament opened in Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency, on August 29, 2026. Approximately 500 athletes from 36 junior high and senior high school teams are participating in the event held at the Pink Futsal Arena.

Vice Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah, acting as the Chairperson of Perwosi Tangerang Regency, led the opening ceremony. She emphasized that the tournament promotes gender equality by providing a platform for female athletes to excel in a sport traditionally associated with males. She encouraged participants to compete with sportsmanship and high skill levels.
