Tangerang rice supplies confirmed stable and compliant with price ceilings

Polda Metro Jaya has confirmed that rice supplies in Tangerang remain stable and are being sold in accordance with the maximum retail price (HET). The assurance follows inspections conducted by the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) at various locations, including Pasar Anyar, Superindo Cipondoh, and Hypermart Mall Metropolis.

According to AKBP Muhammad Ardila Amry, the monitoring revealed that medium rice is priced at Rp12,500 per kilogram, premium rice at Rp14,900 per kilogram, and Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) rice at Rp12,500 per kilogram. These prices align with established regulatory ceilings. The inspections aim to ensure smooth distribution and maintain the affordability of essential food commodities for the public.
