Tangerang Selatan launches Datara data portal

The Tangerang Selatan City Government has launched Datara (Data Rakyat Tangerang Selatan), an integrated socio-economic data portal designed to improve regional development planning and evaluation. The platform aims to centralize information to ensure that government policies and interventions are accurately targeted toward the actual needs of the community.

By integrating various data sources, including sectoral data and the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN), Datara seeks to eliminate discrepancies between different regional government agencies. Previously, individual departments maintained separate datasets, which often led to inconsistent information. This new unified system is intended to prevent issues such as social assistance being distributed to the wrong recipients or being provided repeatedly to the same individuals.

Officials stated that the platform will support multiple sectors, including poverty alleviation, social assistance, education, health, and community empowerment, by providing accurate, up-to-date, and accountable information for decision-making.
